Whether it's badly soiled, has been burnt, or left in washing machine, INTRAFIN Mutilated Currency Claims will help streamline the way you handle claims for currency that has been 'mutilated' in some way.

And processing successful claims refunds has never been easier. Choose from direct credit or bank cheque, or simply close the transaction when no refund is paid.

A variety of information can be recorded for each new claim, including:

  • Claim Type
  • Applicant's Name and address and Identification Number
  • Estimated value of notes submitted by denomination
  • Estimated value of coin submitted by denomination
  • Status of Cash
  • Remarks (optional)
  • Date and place of mutilation
  • Police/District Authority Report Number
  • Refund payment method

All new claims are automatically assigned a unique Claim Reference number.

Claims processing allows you to print various letters and advices associated with a claim, including Customer receipts and letter to customer advising refund details.

Once a decision has been made on level of reimbursement to be paid to the claimant, refunds details can be logged and tagged for either cheque printing or crediting the claimant's account.

Details of all new Mutilated Currency Claims are included in End of Day processing and various on-line reports can be generated at any time.
